Our conveyer trucks are all equipped with boring equipment, commonly called root cutters. The spiral boring blade can cut roots and grease in pipes from 4 to 18 inches in diameter (see other options for different diameters).
The bore is often used to remove grease, roots or other residues identified during the video inspection or during regular cleaning. Whatever the nature of the obstruction, it is essential to thoroughly clean the pipe and select the appropriate cutting tool for the work to be performed.
Repeated boring is often used to address the problems of accumulation and obstruction. Learn about our preventive maintenance program.
